"No.47" denim is made without any finishing processes such as shrinkage prevention, twist prevention, or singeing.

The unique unevenness and distortion of the raw fabric, as worn, creates the distinctive fading characteristic of selvedge denim.

The weft threads are blended with Hakushu cotton, a type of Japanese cotton that has been cultivated since the Edo period, resulting in a fabric with a supple and resilient texture.

The selvedge features the same rainbow-colored selvedge as the 359BF model, Edwin's first domestically produced jeans released in 1963.

The leather label uses vegetable-tanned leather that darkens and develops a glossy amber color with use. The brand logo is embossed and then stamped in red foil, and as you wear it, the foil will peel off, allowing you to enjoy a unique aging process just like the leather.
